Nature's Creation – A Three-Dimensional Landscape of Peaks, Waterfalls, Springs, and Clouds
The natural landscape of Luofu Mountain is characterized by its "majesty, wonder, beauty, and tranquility," and is a concentrated display of the essence of Lingnan's landscape.
- Strange peaks and rocks, and the Flying Cloud Peak:
The mountain range comprises 432 peaks of varying sizes, with Feiyun Peak (the main peak, 1296 meters above sea level) being the highest. Climbing to the summit offers a magnificent view of "four hundred peaks rising from the river and sea," making it an excellent spot for watching the sunrise, the sea of clouds, and the "flying butterflies atop Luofu Mountain" (a unique cloud formation). The mountain is dotted with strangely shaped rocks, such as "Immortal's Reclining Bed" and "Lion Peak," each remarkably lifelike and inspiring contemplation.
- Waterfall and White Water Gate:
Luofu Mountain boasts a well-developed water system and numerous waterfalls. The Baishuimen Waterfall, with a drop of 100 meters, is particularly spectacular during the rainy season, resembling a silver river cascading down, its roar echoing through the valley. Other waterfalls, such as the Huanglongdong Waterfall and the Baishili Waterfall, each possess their own unique charm. Clear springs abound in the mountains, especially renowned for the "Longevity Well" near Chongxu Temple and the "Brewing Spring" at Sulao Temple, whose waters are clear, sweet, and said to have longevity-promoting effects.
- Unique cave scenery and rare plants:
As a Taoist grotto-heaven, Luofu Mountain boasts numerous natural caves, such as Zhu Ming Cave (the Seventh Grotto-Heaven) and Taoyuan Grotto-Heaven, which are secluded, forested, cool, and tranquil. Luofu Mountain is also a natural treasure trove of Chinese medicinal herbs, possessing over 3,000 plant species, of which more than 1,200 are medicinal plants. Flowers bloom year-round, with azaleas covering the mountains in spring and wild chrysanthemums carpeting the ground in autumn.

- Ge Hong Museum: Located next to Chongxu Temple, it systematically displays Ge Hong's life, Taoist culture, and achievements in traditional Chinese medicine, and is a key to understanding the soul of Luofu Mountain culture.
- Dongjiang Column Memorial Hall: During the War of Resistance Against Japan, Luofu Mountain was the headquarters of the Dongjiang Column, a Guangdong People's Anti-Japanese Guerrilla Force. The memorial hall vividly displays the history of this heroic force's resistance against Japan, imbuing the sacred mountain with a profound revolutionary spirit.
- Cliff carvings and ancient paths: Cliff carvings from various dynasties (such as "The First Mountain in Lingnan"), as well as relics such as "Ancient Mountain Climbing Path" and "Medicine Washing Pool", all tell stories of the past.
