Welcome to Beijing, as the capital city of China, this city is next sure to give you a strong cultural atmosphere and a unique travel experience.

Our professional tour guide will meet you at the airport arrival and transfer you to your hotel for rest.

The rest of the day is free time. If you want to wander around, you can ask tour guide which places are worth visiting.

Arrival Tips
As an international aviation hub, Beijing is connected to many cities around the world by direct flights. In addition, you can also choose to arrive in Beijing conveniently by high-speed train, such as from Shanghai (about 5-6 hours), Xi'an (about 5.5 hours) and Guangzhou (about 8-9.5 hours).

After breakfast, we will reach the Tian'anmen Square,  one of the largest city squares in the world. Standing in the North Square, you can look up at the Tian'anmen Tower, where Chairman Mao proclaimed the founding of the People's Republic of China.

Passing through Tian'anmen Square, you will step into the Forbidden City,  which is the largest and best-preserved palace in the world. Once the  imperial palace of the Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty. It is a reflection of the highest architecture level in ancient China.

After visiting the Forbidden City, we will make a short trip to Jingshan Park, where you will have a panoramic view of the entire Forbidden City.

In the afternoon, we will drive to the Summer Palace. The natural landscape of hills and open water is combined with  artificial features such as pavilions, halls, palaces, temples and  bridges to form a harmonious ensemble of outstanding aesthetic value.

We will drive about 70 kilometers to the Mutianyu section of the world-famous Great Wall. This section of the Great Wall is well-preserved and relatively  unvisited, and it will surely live up to your expectations. The Mutianyu  section of the Great Wall is one of the "longest Great Walls in China" and impresses visitors with its rich vegetation and magnificent natural  scenery.

You will take an easy cable car up to the Great Wall. Next you will climb up to the city tower overlooking the majestic Great Wall, which will surely make your stay unforgettable.
(Note: If you are physically fit, you can also choose to hike up and down the mountain to feel the sense of accomplishment of climbing to the top).

Afterwards, we will return to Beijing, and you will visit the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube from the outside in the Olympic Village.

Recommended Activities
You can choose foot massage, houhai night bars or Sanlitun bar street at night.

Today, you will take a high speed train to Xi'an.

Upon arrival in Xi'an, you will proceed to the Da Ci'en Temple, a famous translation site of Buddhist scriptures during the Tang Dynasty. In this solemn Buddhist shrine stands the majestic Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which is the landmark of Shaolin Temple and a masterpiece built by Master Xuanzang to preserve the Buddhist scriptures brought back from India. This 64.5-metre-high pagoda has witnessed the glorious history of cultural exchanges between China and India, and Master Xuanzang is the prototype character of the Longevity Monk in the famous Chinese novel Journey to the West. (Note: If you wish, you can pay an extra RMB 30 to climb up the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, overlooking the whole city of Xi'an, and feel the weight and serenity of that history).

As night falls, you will head to the Great Tang Dynasty Ever Bright City, the perfect place to experience the prosperity and glory of the Great Tang Dynasty. The ancient city seems to take on a new life and vitality under the light. Strolling through it, it is as if you can hear the sound of silk and bamboo from a thousand years ago and see the bustling cityscape.

Then, our guide and driver will transfer you to the hotel for check-in.

Recommended Activities
1. Enjoy a nice dinner of dumplings.
2. You can choose to enjoy a wonderful Tang Palace Dance Show (usually from 8pm to 9pm). This show will take you back in time to the great Tang Dynasty and its unique cultural charm.



Day 4: Beijing - Xi'an

After breakfast, depart from the hotel to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. First visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses of Qin Shi Huang, known as the “Eighth Wonder of the World”. Follow your professional guide to gain a deeper understanding of the magnificence and shock of this ancient military burial system.

It is recommended to choose a clean and hygienic restaurant near the scenic spot to have lunch and taste the local specialties, such as Rougamo, Liang Pi, etc., to reserve energy for the afternoon trip.

After lunch, proceed to the Ancient City Wall of Xi'an. You can choose to ride a bicycle or walk around the wall for a week to experience the majesty and magnificence of the ancient fortifications. Along the way, you can enjoy a beautiful view of downtown Xi'an and feel the historical heritage of the thousand-year-old capital.

You will then proceed to the Muslim Quarter (the night market on Muslim Quarter usually starts to come to life in the evening), which is a great place to sample authentic Xi'an snacks.

After dinner, walk to the nearby Bell Tower and Drum Tower. Although you do not go inside for a tour, stand in the square and wait for nightfall when the Bell and Drum Towers will be lit up with brilliant lights for a spectacular night light show.

At the end of the day, you can choose to take a break at a nearby teahouse or cafe to reflect on what you have seen and felt today, or go straight back to the hotel to rest and recuperate for the next day's journey.

Upon arrival in Shanghai, you will have plenty of free time to explore the city, stroll through the streets of Shanghai and soak up the atmosphere of Shanghai life.

After breakfast, proceed to the Oriental Pearl Tower. As one of Shanghai's iconic landmarks, the Oriental Pearl Tower offers not only an excellent observation deck, but also several entertainment and exhibition areas.

Inside the Oriental Pearl Tower, you can take a high-speed lift straight up to the main viewing level at 263 metres high to enjoy a comprehensive view of the Shanghai cityscape. If time permits, you can also visit the 259-metre translucent suspended corridor and experience the exciting ‘sky walk’.

Then you will proceed to Yu Garden. The Yu Garden is a typical classical garden in the south of the Yangtze River and is surrounded by many traditional snacks and speciality restaurants.

After lunch, you will go to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. As one of the busiest commercial streets in Shanghai, Nanjing Road is lined with a variety of department stores, speciality shops and long-established shops, making it a great place for shopping and leisure.

You will then proceed to the Bund. At this time, the afterglow of the setting sun pours over the Huangpu River, and the buildings on both sides of the river reflect each other, forming a beautiful picture scroll. You can enjoy the view from the viewing platform of the Bund while waiting for the night to fall.

Tianmen Mountain was seriously the biggest surprise of my trip in China! And that glass walkway? A bit scary, but the view over the valley was incredible. The Tianmen Cave is breathtaking, it's amazing what nature can do. If you love nature and a good challenge, you definitely don’t want to miss this place—Tianmen Mountain is totally worth a visit!

Oh my god! The Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon is an absolute wonderland! The highlight was definitely the Grand Canyon Glass Bridge – walking on that transparent floor with the deep canyon below was both terrifying and exhilarating! And the lush greenery everywhere made me feel like I’d entered a fairytale world. Every turn offered a new breathtaking view. This place truly showcases the incredible power and beauty of nature. It’s a must-visit for anyone traveling to China!

Before I came to the Dali Ancient Town, I was full of expectations for this place, and it was completely beyond my imagination! It's both historic and lively, and it's fun to chat with the locals.
